In 2016, I discovered yoga while looking for a remedy to ease my busy mind. When I left my first yoga class I already knew that I had found my ultimate cure. After 2 years of regular yoga practice, I decided to become a yoga teacher and attended a teacher training program in Istanbul in the summer of 2018.
Before finishing the program I had already begun teaching yoga. From day 1, it became my passion. Yoga turned my life in a positive direction and I realized that I wanted to share this wisdom with everyone else.
After moving to Dubai, I got interested in Ashtanga yoga and wanted to deepen my knowledge of this system and learn more. I have been a devoted and passionate Ashtanga yoga practitioner from the day I started practicing.
I think that yoga is a holistic healing tool, hence I try to include it in my general life and in my teaching approach. In my point of the view, yoga does not only strengthen and flex the body but also the mind. Yoga is beyond the poses. It's the journey to discover our true self.
